seriously, can the dems take the house and senate back?
or is the math stacked against us?

i know more dems than repubs are up and that of those dems, many are being targeted by the GOP because they're from so-called 'red states" - such as Senator Byrd.
will the national party be able to fend off these challenges and be able to give GOP incumbents a run for their money?
and is the GOP 8 seat lead in the senate too many seats to win back?

3. The MACHINES are stacked against us; the math is just fine
well, except the math and logic in the machines, of course.

6. Well, obviously in the house EVERYONE is up
It's a tough call though. There's been literally YEARS of carefully planned and executed gerrymandering leading up to now, so it will be difficult. However, judging by the national mood, I'd say it's possible.

With BBV who knows.

7. Nice thought but it would be like
drawing to an inside straight/

There are very very few congressional districts that look to comptetive enough to change hands our way. Gerrymanding drawing districts have made 90 plus percent of the house seats safe for incumbents.

The good news about this is that we will most likely not lose any seats, we also wil not win many new ones, at least not enough to make Nancy Pelosi speaker.

The situation for the senate is just as daunting since we have to defend more seats than the GOP.

However I think we will hold on to Florida but I am unsure where we will pick up the six seats we need (we need 6 to get 51, 5 only gets us a tie and that is no good because Chaney has the tie breaker).

Also we can afford no losses, a tough order to fill.

Still I wish us good luck.

8. The Dems could easily win back the House and Senate IF
the vote machine fraud problem is rectified. Otherwise, why bother?
