Dorkface's approval rating will go up 5 points after the speech

Here's why..

The media has been spinning it all week as a "pivotal" speech, and keeps telling us how IMPORTANT it is..and how his approval has been slipping..

They are trying to make people feel sorry for him..

.....and no doubt, they (and their pollsters) know precisely just which people to poll after the speech, so that it looks like people Are buying the "load 'o crap" he's about to try and sell us.

I hope I am wrong, but I am willing to bet that all day tomorrow we will hear cherry-picked bits of the speech, with cutaways to the adoring crowd and cheering soldiers..with a liberal dose of Huuuuuuuahhhh!!...and we will be told that his numbers are headed up..and he really does loves us :)

Failing that, CNN will probably dust off "Flyboy" and show it to ua all weekend :)

1. I don't think so. I think they may attempt to do this but the speech

is going to be attacked on many fronts as full of platitudes, void of specifics and now that communities such as Fayetteville are divided over this war, none of that will help.

I pray there is something decent on cable. I can't bear another of his main stream media-spin machine, speeches. Not that I've watched many of the others...but they are truly nauseating.
