Just need to get it out of my system.

I went out to my car during my 10-minute break this evening, to eat a sandwich and listen to Air America Radio. AAR had some chick with a guitar singing something folksy, and I wasn't in the mood.

So I turned the dial until I came to the next talk radio station. They were playing a clip of (I think it was) Rumsfeld, maybe Cheney, but someone who was defending Rove's recent comments. The speaker stated that Rove was referring to MoveOn.org as being the ones who were soft on terrorists, not Democrats.

Then the host ended the recording and went on to say, see, Rove was talking about MoveOn.org, not all Democrats. (Funny how he didn't play Rove's actual comments, in order to prove his point, because that wouldn't have worked.)

He continued with something along the lines of: "So what Democrats need to do is stop frothing at the mouth over Karl Rove's comments, and start demanding MoveOn.org reign in some of its radical rhetoric..."

aaaaaahhhhh!!!

so let me get this straight

rove slanders all dems, progressives, etc. with that bullshit about how we want to provide terrorists with therapy

then he lies and claims he was talking about moveon

then his stooges parrot the lie

then his stooges' stooges (i.e., freeper radio propagandists) parrot the parroted lie

then accuse us of frothing at the mouth

then suggest we go after moveon for something they may have once said, as if this is all moveon's fault, and our fault for allowing moveon to say it (which they probably didn't)

aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!

it's not that freeper stooges and parrots exist in government and the media

it's that people are stupid enough to blindly follow them

i just, aaaahhhhhhh! i .... i don't know ... maybe i could just listen to the brandenburg concertos next time i take my break in my car

or that chick with the guitar

1. " MoveOn.org as being ...
...the ones who were soft on terrorists, not Democrats."

"... people are stupid enough to blindly follow them ..."

Yes, sadly, that's true. Remember the Saddam/Al Qaeda connection? Repeat repeat repeat..... Until it's believed!!

2. MITM has recently become my favorite show
I love it when they (on the rare occasion) slip a little political humor into it.
