2. Time honored tradition. Sons/daughters of lesser kings often taken into
the courts of more powerful rulers. They are taught and treated well, but they are hostages to assure alliances are strictly maintained.

4. Don't Republican politicians like "educating" boys?
Or at least get the youngsters to bloody their hands too, so they have to continue with the corruption and cover-up.

6. Wonder if this is a set up for the big payoff? No one will ever convince
me that Blair sold out his country for shits and giggles. There are just so many things that this 'internship' could hide. Or be the prelude to Blair's new career after retiring from his current position? Moving the family here to be near Sonny Boy and he just coincidentally takes a job with say, Carlisle (sp?).

8. So many believed Blair signed on to Iraqnam just to put the brakes on
Bush's PNAC plans for world and oil domination. I think it's safe to say handing his son over to the republiborg pretty much rules that motivation out.

11. Geez
I use to so much respect for Tony Blair. I thought he modeled himself after Bill Clinton, in the fact that he was searching for a "third way" in politics. Guess I was dead wrong.
