"duty status whereabouts unknown."
in other words - blown to smithereens.

Some stories say 5 Marines dead, some say 6, with 5 of them women.

A Marine statement confirmed two Marines were killed and listed three Marines and a sailor as "duty status whereabouts unknown."

These are our sons and daughters, turned into canon fodder for lies. To add insult to injury, 4 sets of parents and/or spouses will get a coffin with hardly anything in it and a folded flag for their precious loved ones.

It is insanity.

2. Reaching for new ways to avoid the truth.
The US is an illegal occupier of a foreign country. Occupiers always get treated this way.

3. actually it means "not enough even for a squeegee to scrape up"
I've known ordinance disposal guys who just "up and disappeared" when something went wrong.

4. I know I shouldn't be surprised,
but a sailor? :wtf:
I got some glass chalk for my van windows. Yesterday was the first
day I put the "total" on and drove around.
It's very sobering to have to change that number.
