Well Karl -that worked well
Sorry for my skepticsm. Karl knew precisely what he was doing when he made those comments - and methinks the strategy was not so much to belittle liberals - but to get the focus OFF THE DOWNING STREET MINUTES.

And it is working yes? All the democrats have rallied against Karl - and what has happened about the illegality of the war? And is the media further investigating the DSM - or are they busy following up on democrat outrage at Karl's comments.

Why can't we tie them together with a big red bow? Example - The Downing Street minutes indicate how far removed Bush was in removing Osama Bin Laden and breaking up Al Quaida - he was so fixed on Saddam, that he flouted flawed(and KNEW it was weak) intelligence to gain the war he dreamed of. Bush FORGOT the tragedy of September 11 and his vow to the American people to bring those responsible to justice.

Maybe that isn't a good way of framing it - but something along that vein......LET'S NOT FORGET OR LET THE DOWNING STREET MINUTES FADE.....

more than two things at once. I think you make an excellent point as far as Rovian tactics are concerned, but I sure hope you're underestimating democrats.

14. I'm with you.
Multitasking is a necessary skill when it comes to opposing these thugs.

:patriot: We can't let one of their crimes or insults slip by, we have to hold them accountable for all of their wrongs. :argh:

Meanwhile, America weeps as more lives are lost, daily. Who gives a rat's ass about Karl Rove. Tie an albatross around his neck and throw him off the GOP ship; that is how the typical voter feels about him.

9. Yep, that worked very well...
And the only response from the Democrats could have been:

yes, Mr.Rove, your response to the attacks has created an disaster of historic proportions. We would have done well to have prepared indictments instead of preparing for an unrelated war. We should have brought OBL, or whomever was responsible for Sept 11th 2001 - because we would have had a full, open investigation of the attacks instead of nothing - in front of the International Criminal Court. We should have offered therapy to the terrorists to understand why they do what they do, and preserved the moral high ground for America. We would have done much better.

12. And it's not just Karl. The whole repuke noise machine has...
...gone into high gear, recently. Our party leaders need to keep their eyes on the ball. B*sh lied us into an illegal war that now has a death toll approaching 2,000 American soldiers and on one knows how many innocent Iraqis.

15. Karl is drunk on his own Kool-Aide
It's called hubris, people. Uniting the Dems. is his worst nightmare, but he does it anyway because he has the idea that faith-based reality will make it all turn out okay.

He's a child, who once he pisses off the adults, sits with his fingers in his ears and yells: "LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!!!!" at the top of his voice. Because, if the does, then any reasonable chastisement won't actually exist because he can't hear it.

Keep pressuring your reps. about the Downing St. Memo and kick his ass to the curb.

16. Absolutely agree...
not to give turdblossom more credit than he deserves, but everything he does (in a public forum, at least) is calculated. His intention is to take the focus off of Iraq, the DSMs, Gitmo and torture (remember further videos and photos of Abu Ghraib are to be release at the end of the month) and back to 9-11, which has proved in the past to be a rallying point for *.

...for these criminals having led our nation to war on LIES and for PROFIT. Fuck them. There's enough outrage to go around. Matter of fact, there's so much we should be outraged about, I'm surprised we've not all suffered from brain anurisms.

18. Hasn't Conyers said something about going forward?
I'm going to counter your post with some optimism.

This administration is quickly starting to unravel. If we're seeing it and they're spending millions to keep us in the dark, then it must be happening. Everyone's been giving them so much credit for their brilliance in organizing successful coups, illegal wars and the whole layout of the PNAC, but their downfall is they're not as brilliant as they think and don't know their own limitations. That's exactly how all leaders have fallen in history. And it's happening now.

Rove's techniques aren't working anymore and he saw people coming to the aid and support of Howard Dean when he became our lightening rod. So Rove jumps in front of all the cameras and starts saying rude things about democrats as he thinks Dean was saying about Republicans. The difference is Dean wasn't insulting Republican people; Rove got confused by his own spin machine.

Bill O'Reilly has made the outrageous statement that all the people at Air America need to be rounded up and taken off to prison. Randi Rhodes was so upset yesterday that she's demanding that he come on her show or she'll go on his. Won't that help O'Reilly's blummeting ratings? However, I'd love to tune in to watching Randi mop him up and throw him out with the dirty water.

Honestly, the right is becoming super desperate.

There are a lot of things happening and they definitely want to divert attention from the DSM, the photos coming out from the Gitmo and Abu-Graib, the SCOTUS ruling on the property give-away, the energy bill, the quickly approaching retirement of Rehquist and new appointment, Bolton, etc. We're all mad at Rove's statements, but I don't see anyone, including the Dems on the hill ignoring these other critical issues. If anything, they're even more determined than ever to fight, thanks to the people letting them all know we're watching and tired of being overly polite to these crooks.

If this doesn't get the public's attention now, nothing will. Tie the Downing Street Minutes to the 5 women marines who were just killed in Iraq. Their deaths should mean something.........

22. Yeah it worked...until this morning
Then comes the terrible news out of Iraq(what news out of Iraq isn't terrible?) that six more Americans were killed in a car bombing. At least three were female, now, the american sheeple can get past a car bomb killing six marines, but there were females killed.
Incidents like this are pretty hard to ignore, they are coming apart, the harder they spin the more parts fly off, soon all will be laid bare for even the densest too see.
To quote The magistrate,"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS'.

23. Ah but you see, that's just his "added bonus" to prove him right
Pardon my skepticism too but Rove is proving the point he made in the comment. Stay with me..

Durbin calls Gitmo a gulag - all hell breaks loose over his comment and he apologizes.

Rove says the Dems are spineless little whiners who want to talk to the terrorists but the Republicans are the big strong macho heroes who want to "protect" Amerika and fight back. Calls to apologize bring a defiant "are you kidding me, I'm a tough guy and tough guys don't apologize". (Key words there - tough guys don't apologize - Dems do - they're not tough enough to keep the country safe.)

6 more Americans are killed - America needs to be even tougher and only the repukes can protect us.

I hate this f*ckwad but he never misses a f*cking beat. :puke:
