1. Gee, I wonder what creepy picture the poster is talking about ?
Too bad the poster doesn't feel it's necessary to make a reference to a photo without actually showing it.

4. The kid looks like he has an attitude.
I would too I guess if I were lost for four days in the wilderness.

5. Methinks he's a pretty

creepy kid. I saw way too much video of this kid yesterday in which he pushed his sister(?) away when she tried to kiss him and then pretty much ignored his parents, scowling and making meany faces all the while.
At risk of making a Fristian Video Diagnosis here, I would venture that dear Brennan is one mean, hyperactive little booger.
Remember, he "wandered away" from camp then evidently hid from would-be rescuers.
I realise that I will probably be flamed for this opinion but I have been around a LOT of kids like this.

The first thing he wanted to do when found was to play games on one of th searcher's phone.
By the way, in the pic posted that is his father that he is so glad to see.

13. I won't flame you. He does look creepy. Not happy to be rescued at all.
Whether he is or not, he sure looks malevolent there, and that's a fact.

23. Wow...really?
If so, then geez...kid sounds like a monster. I'm glad he isn't hurt or dead or anything of course, but he sounds like a total jerk.

7. I don't get it...
What's so bad about the picture?
The kid wandered about in the wilderness for four days! Is he supposed to be a happy camper -- no pun intended -- every time some asshole gets in his face and wants to snap a picture?

 I know I wouldn't be too delighted to have the media in my grill...

15. The Mother cast a little light on the ordeal.. He was a preemie
and has developmental delays.. That probably explains his odd expressions and behavior.

Having had two preemies, I am forever thankful that neither suffered any lasting effects..

I was not casting aspersions o the boy..just the odd choice of a picture.. Surely the parents had tons of pics where he was smiling or at least not gritting his teeth..

12. I think I know the one you mean
the picture on the missing poster, not any pics taken of him after his rescue. I had the same idea, that it was a really weird expression, and then I remembered where I had seen it before. On the Friends sitcom, when Chandler had to pose for engagement photos w/Monica...he had the exact uncomfortable grimace. Maybe its a guy thing!

20. I like "The 4400".. The story is that supposedly over time
4400 people were abducted, and all returned at once...in their original form.. One character is a 9 or 10 yr old who was abducted in the 50's..and another is a black man who was abducted over 50 yrs ago, but he's still his "young" self..

It's kind of "twilight zone-ish"..

24. My sons have taken some goofy pics (school pics mostly)
and I would never even purchase them...let alone have them plastered all over the internet and tvs:)

One year my middle son's school pic was taken in his grungy GYM shirt (he spilled something on his clean shirt, so he put his gym shirt on:eyes:..it had probably NEVER been brpought home to be washed)..and he had his eyes shut, and a goofy smile on his face.. We all roared when we saw them, but I refused to buy them, and demanded that they be taken over:)

25. It's a bad school photo
remember those, when you were herded in like cattle, some scary guy with a comb-over glared at you, said smile, <click> and off you went completely unaware that your collar was tucked into your bra (or was that just me)
