on Sunday on the front page above the fold (continues inside to A4 for two full columns). Did a really good job. The headline was: "Rice wanted Saddam out, memos show by AP reporter Thomas Wagner. Nice bold headline with a "Regime change focus of talk with British". The article has a really lame photo of Chimpy with the caption: Critics have accused President Bush of rushing to war in Iraq in his zeal to topple former leader Saddam Hussein. Article also contained a list with the web addresses so readers could go and read each of the minutes in their entirety. Wagner did a fine job. It will be hard for CJ readers to ignore.
Of course, the CJ is always attacked as being a liberal rag so many people will take exception to the report (the LTTE will be fast and furious) BUT it was seen by many people who aren't particularly into politics and maybe it was all new info to them.
The word is getting out. I think that is why we see another round of votes for Bolton, all of the foreign leaders shuffling in and out of the White House, Social Security, Social Security, Social Security, Durbin's "trash talk" - anything to keep the talking heads busy with anything but DSM. We have seen this time and time again - when are the MSM whores going to quit falling for the bait? I believe the MSM is overlooking a Pultizer for a lost girl in Aruba or the pissing contest over Durbin's remarks.
