Gregory just called it a growing insurgency...
I guess he didn't get Cheney's memo saying the insurgency is in its last throes?!?!

8. What a refreshing change to
get to watch an actual journalist in action.

Was it just me, or was Rove acting really defensive and nervous?

3. Yeah on MSNBC....
Gregory is really letting the truth explain itself. The insurgency in Iraq is growing worse not better, and he's not letting some RNC staff talking point say otherwise.

5. The original poster is, I think, referring to NBCs David Gregory
who may still be sitting in for Chris Matthews on Hardball.

Impossible to say, however, given the lack of information or context in the original post.

7. David Gregory is a REAL REPORTER.
Tweety just kneels under Bush's desk.

10. Matthews/Tweety needs to be fired.
He's been taking so many corporate bribes it must violate the law.

16. From the sound of it
I wish Hardball would keep Gregory and get rid of Matthews. I used to be interested in the show but it's soooo boring! No challenges or anything unless you have a (d) next to your name. :eyes:

14. He should become the full on host for Hardball....
1000 times better than the kissing pot Matthews, and actually does his job. Even if its not perfect, its better than nothing.

:wow:

15. it's a fine line
to interview without alienating high powered guests he drew. No way Matthews could draw such a great line up this week.

17. Someone inform Hillary. She agrees with Cheney.
BAGHDAD, Iraq Feb 19, 2005 — As 55 people died in Iraq on Saturday, the holiest day on the Shiite Muslim religious calendar, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said that much of Iraq was "functioning quite well" and that the rash of suicide attacks was a sign that the insurgency was failing.

"The fact that you have these suicide bombers now, wreaking such hatred and violence while people pray, is to me, an indication of their failure," Clinton said.
