have to start suiting up and buying their own armor. That will be a different story.
During Viet Nam the two things that made the difference were the pictures of the atrocities being pushed into the faces of the public (where's the pictures of how were dropping napalm on civilians now???) and the draft.
It has never ceased to amaze me, and I am no spring chicken, how much 'put up or shut up' can influence a coward's position. During Viet Nam there were many many young people who were against the war purely from the viewpoint that it was illegal and immoral. But the ranks swelled as the draft swung into high gear.
