Schiavo timeline troubles governor
The state attorney will review discrepancies concerning Terri Schiavo's unexplained collapse.
By CHRIS TISCH and JONI JAMES
Published June 17, 2005

LARGO - Refusing to give up on the Terri Schiavo case, Gov. Jeb Bush has asked Pinellas prosecutors to sort out time discrepancies Michael Schiavo has provided regarding the hour he found his wife unconscious 15 years ago.

State Attorney Bernie McCabe has agreed to review the time elements in the case, his chief assistant, Bruce Bartlett, said Thursday.

"We are going to look into the circumstances surrounding the times," said Bartlett, who declined to label the review an investigation. "The governor has expressed concern over that aspect of the case."

Michael Schiavo has said he called 911 immediately after finding his wife collapsed on the floor of their home on Feb. 25, 1990. Though medical records indicate he called 911 about 5:40 a.m. that day, he told the Medical Examiner's Office recently that he found his wife about 4:30 a.m.

3. somebody correct me if I'm wrong,...
but if she had stopped breathing, heart stopped beating over an hour before the ambulance arrived and resucitation efforts began, wouldn't she have been stiff and blue by the time they even started to revive her...then it took them 45 min. to an hour to get a pulse and sign of a heart beat..that means over 2 hrs without breathing/heartbeat...wouldn't she have been in rigormortis by then?

5. Time To Sue NOW!!!!
If any man ever had a case to sue for libel and defamation...Michael Schaivo has more than not only just cause, but an all but slam-dunk case.

I'd love to see a good civil suit turn into an investigation into the Swindlers and their right wing/fundie friends who have financial and other ties to Jebbie. Follow the money and we could have some fun.

Jebbie...STFU. These goons have tons of egg on their face and are still tap dancing about this thing.

BTW...isn't there some sort of statute of limitations here? Yes, I know it could be contorted to "murder" and there's no limitations on that, but wouldn't charges have had to have been filed PRIOR to the autoposy, not after? Any grand jury that would dare attempt to indict on this have less brain capacity than both the current Florida governor and Mrs. Schaivo.

6. Everyone in Florida needs to show the world what Jeb is.....
There's sure nothing moral values about him, he's always been out of his mind. Is really heavily into corruption, election stealing and purging black voters. He needs to be called out.

It's long past florida's time to call this schmuck on the carpet

7. In a related note, Bush orders probe into runaway slave
Jeb Bush today announced that he is ordering the state Attorney General's office to investigate the disappearance of "James," a slave who ran away from his Florida master in 1857. "We will pursue this to the very end," Bush was quoted as saying. "Uppity slaves will not be tolerated in Florida, and we will spend hundreds of millions of dollars and untold hours of state employees' time to get to the bottom of this."

8. A one hour discrepancey about an incident 15 years ago
now that's a really great reason to start an investigation.

If they do prosecute, it would be the definition of malicious prosecution. Odds are at least 1000-1 against Schiavo being prosecuted.

9. I have a better idea; the attorney general should look into the
death of the agent who was poised to out the fraud of the Bushes in the election (laundering money through the road dept.)

10. Don't tell Jebbie to STFU - let him make an ass of himself
Considering how poorly gov't involvement in the Shiavo case played with the public, it's all to the good if he entangles himself more!

11. keep at it Jeb!
It worked for you so far... in terms of bigging big fundy and corp $ to your campaign coffers...

But you seem to have not noticed that the alignment - esp with the radical religious right - is starting to DRAG republicans down - as the middle public gets uneasy with the power - and now clear obsessions of what the radicalized religious right want (theocracy now). So this may work for you locally... but its a career dampener for higher office. So pursue it. Dare ya. Keep at it. Get some national press. Please align yourself with that which is starting to scare the country. Kill the hopes of a continued bush dynasty with your own silly rhetoric.

And I thought you had the reputation of being the "smart" bush brother.

13. I don't suppose it has occurred to Jebbie
that maybe, just maybe, Michael Schiavo was so distraught at finding his wife collapsed and unconscious on the floor that he didn't really think to check the fucking time before he called 911.

Also, given that it's now 15 years later, I think he can be forgiven for recently telling the ME's office that he found Terri at about 4:30 p.m. If it were me, I seriously doubt I'd remember the exact time after so many years. Hell, Jeb's big brother forgot about a whole year of his life in the early 70s.

Let it go, Jeb. Let that poor woman rest in peace and let her poor husband get some peace in life.
