I need some facts
I know that there are some congressmen and senators that do have immediate family (as defined by insurance companies, cousins do not count) that are serving in Iraq (not Afghanistan)
I am going to send this to msnbc and my Senators and Congressmen:
--------
This is a great and explosive story!!

www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8216602/

It's about a memo that may prove that someone knew something they lied about. It's even on your front page. It even had this tagline below the title of the story: "Investigators 'urgently reviewing' company executive's note". I wish there was an institution in the United States that "urgently reviewed" memo's that gave insight to the state of mind of the significant players of "other" events.

I find it ironic that "other" memo's do not get nearly the attention that this one gets. As far as I know, the "Oil for Food" program scandal did not kill anyone. Granted, the sales of oil were hugely illegal, but because there were these companies from this one particular country that received over 50% of those sales, it's not nearly the more important story than Kofi Annan's role.

There is this "other" HUGE "event" that is killing people daily because it was built upon a house of sand (and cheerleading from the fourth estate) that gets little coverage these days. I bet if immediate family members of people in positions of power such as (put any name from both houses of congress' immediate family, the Presidents' family, members of his staffs' family HERE) or positions of getting the facts out (Chris Mathews' immediate family, Tim Russerts' family, their producers', editors') were actually fighting in this "other" "event" there would be an absolute *@#! storm over some of these "other" memo's.

Everyday when I read about the war, I thank God that I served and went to Saudi Arabia in the first Gulf War under President George Bush I and Colin Powell 1.0. This George Bush II, his administration, and Colin Powell 2.0 are the worst leaders possibly in recorded history as far as chances squandered and goodwill lost, and I would never fight under any flag they carry.
