23. I don't like reggae.... oh,no... I LOVE IT.
Well he looked down at my silver chain
He said I'll give you one dollar
I said you've got to be jokin' man
It was a present from me Mother
He said I like it I want it
I'll take it off your hands
And you'll be sorry you crossed me
You'd better understand that you're alone
A long way from home

And I say
I don't like reggae no no
I love it
I don't like reggae oh no
I love it
Don't you cramp me style
Don't you queer on me pitch
Don't you walk thru my words
'Cause you ain't heard me out yet

28. Sorry, because he is streaming from his 'puter
the bandwidth is limited to about fifteen listeners. :(

Well, keep that url because you can always tune in sometime in the future. He spins quite often, at least these days. But you never know... DU'ers who want to tune in check it, its gold! Only streaming at 32Kb/s so don't expect CD-quality sound, but the selection is of the highest standard.

31. I'll second that!
Or "third" it.

Hartmann is the BEST!! He's so informative about the roots of our democracy and the history. He's really up on all the latest buzz and has great guests, too.

17. my listening day
Morning Sedition until 9 am

Amy Goodman 9 - 10 am

Stephanie Miller 10 - 12pm

Thom Hartman 12 - 3

Randi Rhodes 3 - 7

Majority Report 7 - 10pm Break from 8 to 9 to watch Keith Olberman. I actually miss a lot of Majority Report because I have family time during that time. Listen in the kitchen while making dinner.

Mike Malloy 10 - 1 am Break from 11 to 11:30 to watch Daily Show

Of course I work from home so I can be talk radio nerd all day long.
Also post on DU and write letters to Congressional representatives while listening so I'm multitasking.

21. For the first time......
in months, I had to go looking for something other than AAR. What does Springer have as his topic today? MICHAEL JACKSON!! GRRRRR.

Oh how I miss "Unfiltered". I've tried to give Springer a chance but he just doesn't cut it. Big mistake AAR. And I'm having trouble getting Thom Hartmann for weeks now. So, I've landed on "Democracy Now" which is good.

24. Classic FM from London, UK
If you like classical music, you'll LOVE Classic FM. They play an amazing mix of music. What's very cool about this station is that they are a commercial station and they do classical "Top Ten" of the week, they do call-in requests....everything you'd expect from an American Top-40 format, except it's classical, and of course a little more reserved than a Top-40 station. I listen to nothing else at home...

The show's only 30 minutes long, & streams without commercials. I miss her 3-hr show (but not the commercials!)

My Atlanta based rock group, THE LOSING END. Check out the site. No sales...just free music. Influenced by Neil Young and Wilco, it's good americana stuff. Please enjoy.
