Has any Democrat invited the Dixie Chicks to the 2004 Convention yet?
I think we should.I am SO glad they are leaving Country music behind. John Mellencap's "Scarecrow" album was considered country / rock to some & it sold millions!I can see someone like Cheryl Crowe writting a song for the Dixie Chicks or Bob Dylan or even Bruce Springsteen. I think the Dixie Chicks will only get bigger now that Country is behind them!

I hope they support Dean or Clark!

silly as it may sound, i can't help but feel that when they survived the 'boycott' completely unscathed, it did go a long way towards showing the public that not everyone was a knee-jerk reactionary.

i think it was one of the first cracks in the right-wing illusion of unanoymous support for dumbya
