7. someone as radical and conyers
would be the ruin of the democratic party. It just doesn't work to have a radical president with a centrist congress. Everything will be a fight, and the business elites would tear him to shreds.

11. BTW. I think Clark would make a GREAT VP choice if it wasn't
Dean. But of course I would like to see Dean/Clark. I really mean this as Clark for a VP candidate. He's a brawler!

15. I went back and forth on it
I'd like both as Pres, but it was really tough to pick who would take a backseat to who. Dean would get a hell of a lot of domestic stuff done with some common sense. Clark is a foreign relations and military man.

They make a great package.

9. I'd vote for it. A strong, white-knuckled campaign.
The question I'd have is whether the craven media could be trusted to cover these two fairly.

To date, most media been dismissive, or borderline dismissive, and occasionally Machiavellian in their coverage of Al and Howard.

Dennis Kucinich got the same treatment.

But Gore/Dean could be a forceful ticket.

16. Situations have a way of changing...
There could be a " draft Dean movement" or Gore for that matter.

20. Dean said he wouldn't run for President, but he could be Gore's VP
Running for Prez takes at least 2-3 years, but by 2008 Dem National Convention, Dean would be in the last few months of his 4-year term as DNC Chair, and if Gore won the nomination, he could pick Dean as his VP choice.
