The white house says there was lots of planning for the post war..
Edited on Sun Jun-12-05 06:43 PM by 5X
in the 8 months after one of the memos.
If that is the case, how can they deny they had
intended to go to war all along?

against what they said though about the DSM? That it's not true and they had no intentions of going to war. So :wtf: ?

8. Why didn't they follow it then??
US State dept had researched and wrote out "The Future Of Iraq Project"

It was ignored.

The neo-con-fascists had there own capitalist utopian idea of a post-war Iraq.

And as we can see, it's turned out beautifully.

10. Too bad no one in our so called media can
get the white house mad enough to trap them into telling us about PNAC
although they might just be caught off guard if these stories keep coming out

12. Yep, caught 'em in a bind there.
And if THIS is what they call loads of post-war planning, DAMN, they suck even harder than I thought.

Either way, this argument doesn't float for them. They need to go back to the drawing board and figure out some other excuse for all their fuck-ups.

13. Victory parades, adulations from a saved country, statues
of heroes to be erected, holidays to be taken in the name of our victorious leaders. You know, the usual.

16. They did plan for the post-war
14 permanent basis.
Big Oil divvying up the land for rigs.
Other corporations dividing the land for further bleeding of American jobs.
And a pretty pipeline.

18. Yes, they planned to make Iraq
a shining example of the ownership society.
The only trouble was, the Iraqi people already having been owned by the Romans, the Mongols, and the Turks, had other ideas.

21. They did plan for the post-war....Call me confused...How can you plan for
a post war, on a war you wasn't planing for in the first place? Why would you plan for a post war, if you were seeking all peaceful means to resolve the problem, instead of war? I am confused.

Would this then mean that they had planned for the war, and also had planned for the post war 8 months prior to notifying Congress and the American People?

doh!
