Crystle Campaign Unveils “Chuck” Wagon (Senate PA '04 Dem)

New Campaign Vehicle gives Crystle’s Campaign Sharp Visibility on the Road.

Lancaster, Pa

Charlie Crystle today unveiled the newest tool in his campaign for United States Senate, a 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager emblazoned with the campaign logo and a photo of the candidate. “The ‘Chuck’ Wagon has become an important part of Team Crystle already. It gives us a great presence on and off the road,” said Crystle. “After the success Governor Rendell had last year with his bus I couldn’t resist,” Crystle added.

Crystle will roll the “Chuck” Wagon out this weekend as he travels from Lancaster to Pittsburgh for several events in the western half of the state. “I’m taking this campaign to the people; to fight for equitable education for all, to bring back jobs and fight for fair trade instead free trade,” Crystle said of his plans to tirelessly travel the state talking to voters. He believes that the van will help people become more aware of his candidacy.

“After the success Governor Rendell had last year with his bus I couldn’t resist,” Crystle said. In his bid to be governor, then-candidate Ed Rendell traveled the state in a logo-rich bus, which helped vault himself to the Governor’s Mansion. The bus drew so much attention that actor and Philadelphia native Will Smith was prompted to compare his luxury cruiser with Rendell’s.

The design on the side of the “Chuck Wagon” was created by a Lancaster based graphic artist Eric Hershey, who is volunteering his service to campaign as a show of support for Crystle. “Eric has done some amazing work thus far and we are excited to see what he will do next for the campaign,” said Crystle.

Crystle has also purchased a 1978 Airstream bus, which is currently being converted into a mobile office. The yet un-nicknamed bus will join Crystle’s fleet of American made vehicles in early October.
