Sensenbrenner's home town paper puts his snit
on the front page. I am gratified, and a bit surprised. And at the end of the article they direct readers to the CSPAN video.

Donated to Bryan Kennedy last night - maybe we can get rid of this tyrant

2. Howard Dean needs to pull the punches straight back at Sensenbrenner...
He unilaterally abused his power, and is supposed to be an overseer of the judiciary the unit that actually holds the executive branch accountable to abuse.

He seemed to be reasonable before becoming sick with this administration's lies. He needs to own up to those facts or be removed, simply step down for improper actions.

6. C-SPAN showed the Sensenbrenner meltdown 5 times
in the ppast 24 hours. It's such a good example of a mean son of a bitch at work. Conyers played him so well.

7. In addition to all the other suggestions...
... I think it's important to tie this clearly bad behavior to Sensenbrenner's own bill, HR1528, which pretty much requires families and friends to snitch for the government or face ridiculously severe prison terms in drug-related cases. The bill is truly beyond the pale and is an indication of the degree to which Sensenbrenner has gone over the Constitutional edge.

Cheers.

13. There were more than 20, as I understand it
The committee had met exclusively with pro-Patriot Act witnesses until the Dems hooked into a House Rule to allow for these FOUR witnesses. Apparently, even these four were too much for the Republicans, who demand that they should ONLY listen to their own witnesses, and never hear anything at all that departs from their iron viewpoints.

The arrogance and abuse of power is astounding.

12. Rep. not Sen
If he was Sen I'm sure we would see some fire from Harry. Nancy Pelosi will certainly say that Sensei is "not playing nice".

14. Sensenbrener clutches his gavel and goes home!
One only had to watch the C-SPAN clip of Sensenbrener departing his throne with the chairman's gavel gripped tightly in his left-hand (better for photo-op) and a broad smile on his face. This script was so pre-planned by the Repubs. Great campaign clips.

This clip along with many others would make excellent campaign ads for the Dems. The media-whores and the arrogant CON's have used the Howard Dean "scream." If the Dems and Independents don't use this C-SPAN video to use as proof positive that this Republican controlled Houses of Government do not give a damn about "We the People," our troops, but only about keeping and controlling for their own self preservation......

They have all sworn solemn oaths and they have all broken those oaths.... Clinton got into trouble for lying about a blow-job.....and the Republicans were horrified not that he had a blow-job but that "he lied under oath." These elected scum have also taken an oath and it is becoming very clear that they also lied.......
