The citizens need a clear discussion of the FACTS, not a diatribe re: the renewal (we hope not) of certain elements of the Patriot Act.
Filibustering is not permitted within committees, I believe. You HALTED the discussion ,sir, when Mr. Zogby and others were asking very pointed questions.

We watch C-Span. In reference to this matter also, http://judiciary.house.gov/

MANY elements of the Patriot Act are a violation of our rights.

Dear Rep. Sensenbrenner,

This morning I witnessed your reckless, childish, irresponsible actions in the Judiciary Committee. The House Judiciary Committee is not your personal property. It is not the property of the Republican Party. It is owned by the people of the United States of America which is still almost 50% of the minority party (and growing daily).

We *will* be heard. You cannot and will not silence us. Your flagrant violations of the House rules, if not the rule of law, will not succeed. The facts which you tried to smother today will win out over your reckless grab for one-party rule.

You cannot stop the truth, Rep. Sensenbrenner. You may slow it down, but it will win out in the end. The only question is how much of the great country the founding fathers created will remain after you Republicans are finished eviscerating it.
