Students at Lavizzo are among the more than 850 Chicago students who have enlisted in one of the city's 26 MSCC programs. At Madero Middle School, the MSCC has evolved into a full-time military academy for kids 11 to 14 years old.

2. Yeah these days

this is NOT a good sign but here comes the however - 30 years ago I was graduated from high school here in New York city. It was a military school and was part of the JROTC program. Yes when I was 18 I was a Republican but at 18 how much does anybody know about life. Today at 51 as result of varied life experiences I am a PROUD liberal democrat. People grow and change sometimes in the best of ways. The big IF is will any of these kids come around to the "Jedi side" or will they fall under the spell of the dark side only time will tell. We can only hope and work to discourage them from falling for neocon lies and false dreams.
