Lyndon LaRouche's committee calls me
regarding the terrible state of our economy and what the asswipe in office is doing to our country (as if I didn't know that one ;) ).

Now even though I am a pretty good DUer, I am not that familiar with this man and his policies.

I wasn't rude at all, instead I told him that I needed to educate myself regarding Mr. LaRouche's stances on issues.

So DUer's educate me.......pweeez :)

Again, I will say I am not familiar with his policies so don't jump on me if he is the anti-christ and I didn't get the memo ;)

2. Complete and total LOON.
Good luck getting off their call list, Gellie. I finally had to program the number into Call Blocking to get rid of them. And all for signing an Internet petition one time.

8. Next Time, Ma'am, Be Rude
Edited on Mon Jun-06-05 03:48 PM by The Magistrate
The critter is a loon, too bizarre for even entertainment value. Essentially he is a political cultist, with no particulat left or right character, but only the demand that the leader's line be adhered to, and to emphasize the need for unquestioned loyalty, this line often takes bizarre twists and turns, at which the loyalty can be demonstrated by continued adherence. The details of it are unimportant. A leading element is that most developments are dictated by Enland's crown; most elements of modern social thought have been in service of this, and such disperate things as ecological preservationists and social psychiatrists are in fact aiming at world depopulation for the Crown's benefit. The social liberation movements of the sixties were a plot by the Crown to divert the populace. Nuclear fusion will solve all problems. If only all the governments in the world would surrender their direction to LaRouche all problems would be speedily solved....

call them on it.
They quit calling me when it finally became clear that weren't getting a dime out of me.

14. Political cult group...
like the broken clock he is right once or twice but
is very authoritarian and creepy.

I recommend avoiding his followers at all times.

20. I couldn't get a word
in this guy was on cue. I did manage to ask him if LaRouche was pro-choice and he said, "NO". I also asked him how he felt about personal freedoms and he went right back to his script completely ignoring my question.

18. I was insulted by a petitioner outside the local library
I said I was sorry but I was not interested.

His reply was "Yes, you are sorry." Yeah, buddy, that's the way to win hearts and minds.

I shouted back that Lyndon LaRouche was a nut.

I seem to remember some theory about Jews and the Queen of England and some sort of world conspiracy.

Perpetual loon who says he's a Democrat.

23. Personally, I think LaRouche has figured out to make a pretty
good living by accepting donations for his many runs at the Presidency. It's all about the donations for him. Forget about him - whatever good thoughts he had have long passed and I put him right up there with the Robertsons & Falwells; just living off his followers.

24. They try to infiltrate local Democratic clubs
...and turn them into vehicles for their shrieking, abusive lunacy. I also see them leafletting on the edge of campus (Berkeley). Since the current version of LaRouche-ism is anti-Bush and sounds superficially leftish, they can fool people for awhile.
