Mehlman on MTP this morning -- puke inducing.

I managed 12 minutes before I threw the remote
at the TV.

When Dean was on there, it was out of context
quote gotcha questions one after the other.

With Mehlman, it was softball setups so Mehlman
could repeat over and over the Repuglican
talking points.

"I disagree with that, Tim." Then blah, blah,
blah.

:grr:

Whore.

"freeing Muslims around the world from tyranny"

Timmy did question him about the 7:15pm Fri. evening news dump.

GEEZ!! Why don't these asshats just realize if they just TOLD THE TRUTH this abuse story would have been done and forgotten last year!

Now asking Meelyman about the DSM

WTF????

Meelyman just said everyone's discredited that?? :wtf:

I never watch him any more. He's too unbalanced in his approach.

5. "We must prevail here. We must continue to move forward"
Timmy let Meelyman off without questioning him about the "Iraq invaded its neighbors. Iraq used WMDs. Iraq paid off suicide bombers."

Timmy now questioning about the Pat Tillman situation.

"The Pentagon has admitted it handled it wrong...they should have informed the family earlier...taken steps so it won't happen again in the future." :puke:

8. Wonder what poor slob of a Sargeant they're gonna
court martial for the Tillman thing.

Did you notice through all the gay talk, Mehlman
didn't even flinch. It's funny, it's pretty well
known Mehlman's gay. Wonder why Timmeh-Ho didn't
personalize those questions.

He would have with Dean, that's for sure.

we need to prepare a response to mushmouth mehlman's spinning of the DSM. I do not buy it, but I have no doubt that many Americans would, gasbag russert certainly did not call him on it. But we need to formulate a response to each point he raised, and also bring in the other elements to the story, such as the stepped up airwar, the debate over the aluminum tubes, etc. I cannot stand mehlman, but he is a worthy adversary. Having an effective and honest response to his talking points will be very important!

18. We really need to do better than directing people to websites...
the rethugs issue talking points, and like the automatons that they are, they inundate us with those responses, for days or weeks. We need to have our talking points too. I am saying, we need to prepare individual responses based, of course, on the facts, to each of his points of the DSM being "discredited". I was waiting to hear how they would really respond to the DSM, and we just heard it. Was it pure BS? YES! Will it be embraced by many Americans? Sadly, another yes. But not if we can rip the lies from around it, based on all those stories that were tucked away on A18 of the newspapers, for these past few years. We need a timeline, and the stories. The DSM is the catalyst for impeachment, please, we cannot let them "talking point" it away!

28. Cool! thanks...
I hope I did not sound too harsh. I am just tired of getting my hopes up, that people will see these idiots as they really are, and then NOTHING. We are at a point that is perfect for impeachment. I have heard the word quite a few times recently in the media. And a few weeks ago, if you said it would be discussed, I would have never believed it. Now fat head russert is bringing up the DSM, despite his poor job! This is BIG! We need to keep the momentum up! We need Kerry to specifically talk about mehlman points, when he speaks of this Monday, and destroy point by point!

Timmy now goes off on another topic. Gingrich clip saying he thinks Hillary will be 2008 nominee. Calls her "serious, hard-working, first-rate individual."

Meelyman spewing.

Timmy: "She voted for the war on Iraq"
Meelyman: "Yes, she voted for the war."

20. Mehlman was even using some of the talking points DU gave him.
Apparently Priscilla Owen "set a standard" for future judicial nominees. "Judicial philosophy" no longer has any play as to whether or not judges get an up or down vote, now, according to him.

So, we just went ahead and gave them that spin, instead of fighting with our own.
