Michael Jackson's trial is getting top billing right now. Within one week, the "Runaway Bride" story had received literally hundreds of times more coverage and air time than the ENTIRE "Gannon-gate" saga.

And suddenly "Deep Throat" is pulled out, and everyone is talking about Watergate, which happened 30 years ago, and not the Downing Street Memo, which is relevant RIGHT NOW.

2. The media loves scandal...

and theres a good section of the populace that could care less about Howard Dean. Hannity had them on his show, finding people who couldn't even name Cheney as the vice President.

I suspect that MSM journalists are going to start digging into these broader scandals that are raining down like candy from the GOP pinata. Someone's going to go, "hey...I can get a Pulitzer..."
