The world was safer when two superpowers pointed nukes at each other
than it is now. I don't trust our country under Bush, not at all.

4. Not really strange. The balance of power theory seems to work.
I was in high school during the height of the cold war and one of my teachers said that as long as we were pointing nukes at each other and saber rattling, we were perfectly safe from WWIII happening. This is another reason we can't have one party in control of every branch of government. This is something that the founding father's missed, a fail safe in the Constitution in case this ever happened. I hope it can be remedied by ammendment in the future, when we return to sanity
