1. The fish sign on a business really turns off most Christians
in my town, and I have heard A LOT of discussion about that. A number of fish sign businesses in this area have turned out to be real crooks, so in turn that casts doubt on all the other businesses with the sign. Plus most Christians don't like the use of Christ as an advertising tool.

5. You mean the guy here in my town with the fish AND the slogan?
Edited on Wed Jun-01-05 10:48 AM by progressivebydesign
Get this: He has a GiANT fish on all his work trucks, and the slogan "GOD. The ULTIMATE Power Tool". (I kid you not!). Perhaps God is slipping, I still have that curtain rod to hang, and it's just sitting there, still!

2. The fact that Fish and Flags are the trademark of many transmission shops
makes me wary. A shop that used to be down the street from me was one of the more blatant early adopters. Hell, the fish was as large as their sign. Funny, they appeared on many Eyewitness News scam alerts and had horrid BB reports.

I guess Chuck Colson and his ilk would only say that they are persecuted for their Christian beliefs. :eyes:

4. Honestly, I initially thought those fish symbols were for an auto
dealership.

I had seen ones with "Bass Chevrolet" before - and when I started seeing the "Jesus Fish", I thought it was just a new advert for a car dealership . . .

7. Fish? WSB says it best:
"If you're doin' business with a religious son of a bitch, get it in writing. His word isn't worth shit, not with the Good Lord tellin' him how to fuck you on the deal."

8. If I see a business with a fish in the yellow pages...
I avoid that business like the plague!

Hell, they don't need my money anyway...God will provide for them.
