does anyone have a list of zarqawi injuries....
in chronological order would be a big help...i'm trying to show some co-workers how many times he's ALMOST been captured and how many times he's been so-called INJURED...and then BARELY escaped from our elite special forces, with one leg dragging behind him.

thanks

1. I'm guessing there are at least a dozen recent accounts
that i can remember, and i was thinking about this also. and add osama to the, 'just barely escaped' list with zarqawi. and add about a dozen other 'operatives' and it all adds up to smoke and dust. good luck with the list, i'll bet it's large.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi

IRAQ: AL ZARQAWI'S FAMILY SAID TO BE PREPARING EPITAPH

Amman, 27 May (AKI) - The family of injured Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi - al-Qaeda's pointman in Iraq - is already preparing his obituary, the Saudi daily al-Watan said on Friday, quoting sources close to the family. Al-Zarqawi's close relatives, all of whom live in the Jordanian city of Zarqa, are reported to be in state of high tension over the conflicting reports circulating over his state of health, and are only waiting for officials to confirm his death before releasing the death notice.Jordanian security forces have surrounded the Ramzi quarter of Zarqa where al-Zarqawi's family lives, al-Watan said. Relatives have confirmed that al-Zarqawi's wife and four children fled to Iraq in secret six months ago.

On Thursday, Iraq's defence minister confirmed that al-Zarqawi had been injured, but would reveal no further details. This followed a message on Tuesday, which al-Qaeda posted to a website often used by the terror network, calling on Muslims to pray for al-Zarqawi, and saying he had fled to a neightbouring country after his injuries to his right lung.

and if you google 'zarqawi injured' or wounded, thousands of articles come up. it's scary.

5. At least as many times we've captured Osama's NUMBER #3 man.
It would take at least a month to find out all the times they have lied...especially since they declare anything negative toward them as classified...if they haven't already scrubbed the records like they did with Bush's military records. They've had a lot of practice and are EXPERTS.

6. What Makes You Think He Even Exists?
I think he is a fabrication created by the Military or maybe by Rove in a passing moment of fancy. Just a name for an enemy in a country where we migh have had very few enemys.

10. How US fuelled myth of Zarqawi the mastermind
Edited on Sun May-29-05 09:38 AM by DrDebug

By Adrian Blomfield outside Fallujah
(Filed: 04/10/2004)

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the terrorist leader believed to be responsible for the abduction of Kenneth Bigley, is 'more myth than man', according to American military intelligence agents in Iraq.

Several sources said the importance of Zarqawi, blamed for many of the most spectacular acts of violence in Iraq, has been exaggerated by flawed intelligence and the Bush administration's desire to find "a villain" for the post-invasion mayhem.

US military intelligence agents in Iraq have revealed a series of botched and often tawdry dealings with unreliable sources who, in the words of one source, "told us what we wanted to hear".

"We were basically paying up to $10,000 a time to opportunists, criminals and chancers who passed off fiction and supposition about Zarqawi as cast-iron fact, making him out as the linchpin of just about every attack in Iraq," the agent said.

with crack cache skills would post a compendium. Keystone Cops got nothin' on this shit. :silly:

One of the high points of hilarity for me was the ID of Darth Zarqer as THE BEHEADER and Christine Amapour remarking that the speaker did NOT have a Jordanian accent. I just HOWLED!

SHE, however, was put out to pasture for a few weeks...
Tante K was NOT amused. :grr:

14. he has shrapnel lodged in his chest
and may have been moved to Iran for an operation.

I'm copying this from today's Boston Globe, Reuters, I couldn't find it online. article quoting Londay Sunday Times.

"...Zarqawi was wounded 3 weeks ago.....(was given first aid in a hide out)...became delirious with fever...taken to a hospital in Ramadi..."

now supposedly in a hospital in Iran.

Hmmmmm, quite a guy
