Welcome to another edition of the WILL-AM Media Matters email update!

This week our guest is Gore Vidal. A prolific novelist, playwright, and
essayist, he is one of the great stylists of contemporary American
prose and a provocative commentator on politics and society. We speak
to him about "What went wrong in Ohio," a recently published report on
the conduct of the 2004 presidential election to which Vidal provided
the introduction, and also about current politics more generally. This
is a pre-recorded program.

1. I LOVE GORE VIDAL!
A friend is currently re-reading "Myron" (sequel to "Myra Breckenridge") and reminded me of the fact that, in that book, Vidal replaces curse words with the names of the Supreme Court Justices! How I wish he'd write another book, using the current crop of wackos ...

Examples: "Scalia" replaces "shit" (as in "You think you know it all but you don't know Scalia."). "Thomas" replaces the f-word (as in "He's such a Thomasing jerk.")
