Newsweek, CBS, Guckert, paid reporters--the destruction of the free press.

Recent developments are extremely disturbing. People go to the news for their...news, and thanks to the Bush administration the news is experiencing a major downslide in credibility. "Reporters" are paid, fake reporters have access to the WH, the CBS story about Bush's guard duty is rescinded (even though IT IS TRUE), Newsweek is pressured to back down on their Koran story...

This in addition to the regular "We dum heer in de News Ruum" business of reporting runaway brides instead of the Downing Street memo, the Robert Blake trial instead of the genocide in Darfur...

Makes one feel VERY uncomfortable. What's going to happen to this country?

Know who gets a lot of the credit?

The NRA, the anti-aborition people, reverends and their follower-swallowers, some tradionalists, and some who knew what was going on, but didn't like Kerry for flighty reasons. Enough of them voted to provide a small base, then the cabal stole the rest.

Traditonal republicans can see what is happening; the first three groups above can't see anything because George is their lord.

It's not impossible to win them - there are only about 25% of them in the country. And more people are getting struck by the cabal each day. We need to go after less fervent 40 year olds.

You are absolutely right about how few of them there are, which is why it's in their best interest to destroy the paths of communication/information going to everyone else.

Looks like the blogs will be our last hope. Until the internet is taxed and monitored. :(
