Bushco are "Utopian Anarchists"

This was the conclusion posited by Harper's editor-in-chief Lewis H. Lapham on "The Daily Show." Considering the Neocons' Trotskyite beginnings, this makes sense. I.e. they are trying to propagate a utopian 'Pax Americana,' while at the same time trying to bankrupt the federal government in order to roll back the Great Society and New Deal programs, thereby reducing the government to the smallest possible entity.

What do you guys think?

I know enough about Strauss to know that the adherants to his philosophy are supremely dangerous to the "average" citizen.

I know that many are simply hoping that they'll shoot themselves in the foot but frankly I'd like to see something more pro-active.
