Scary intrusion in public school from a right-wing nutcase.
This is just unbelievable. My daughter told me that in her Physical Therapy Class in high school they had a guest speaker who claimed he was a bone specialist and it didn't go very well. The teacher told him to pack up his things and leave when he adamantly told the kids that there was no reason for any person to take medication and all they had to do was go to a chiropractor once a month and pray to God.

What scares me is that this guy probably uses God as a ploy to push his chiropractor business. Imagine if he weasels himself into right-wing groups which believe him. What's his liability if he's wrong and hurts somebody with poor medical advice?

2. Back when I lived in Wichita Kansas
I went to a chiropracter that wanted to give a spiritual manipulation in addition to a spinal one. I finally got tired of it, found it completely unethical, and stopped going. Sad thing, he was a great chiropractor.

Funny thing happened not long after that...I was summoned for jury duty regarding a case where this guys brother (chiropractors there tend to run in families) charged thousands of dollars for treating a family that was rear-ended by a car going about 10 MPH. The family were represented by an attorney who advertises "don't settle before you speak to an attorney" was trying to reimburse the medical costs to this family plus damages. This attorney was known for this.

In the jury selection process I was asked if I had any knowledge of the chiropractor (who attended the same church as his brother) to which I replied I believe that their practice of spiritual manipulation with every spinal manipulation was unethical and crossed the line of professionalism. This guy actually allowed me to stay on the jury because I had a massage therapy practice and he thought that my belief in alternative healing would open my mind to his practices (spoke to him after the trial and asked why he kept me, I was trying to get out of serving).

Needless to say, we found for the family, however we only awarded the family the initial doctors visit to check for injuries and remibursed what they were out for their co-pay, about $250. The attorney was asking for nearly $70,000 in medical expenses and damages. This chiropractor set them up on some plan bringing them in every day for weeks for treatment, funny thing, he wanted to set me up on the same plan for a problem in my wrist.

It never ceases to amaze me that so called Godly people can engage in such unethical behavior. Hypocrits.
