A brief course in the history of the VRWC.

As the 1980's came to a close,the Republican Party was afraid that no one would be able to carry Ronald Reagan's mantle as the savior of the Western world.For a brief four years GHWB stopped that self doubt by trouncing Michale Dukakis in 1988.That brief interlude came to an abrupt end when Bill Clinton put an end to the GHWB presidency in 1992.Panic now gripped the Right wingers that their snake oil may be unsaleable in the marketplace when the genuine article has been experienced by the American people. That started the process of sowing doubt about the Clintons through character assassinations, trumped up scandals and the like which finally culminated in the blowjob scandal and impeachment.So, the rightwing paved the way for a Republican revival.

At the same time, Israel was rocked by the Children's Intifada in which teengers threw stones at battle tanks unafraid.Theyw ere fired on by the Israeli soldiers. That Intifada showed that two of the cherished notions of our media were full of baloney.First Israel was not a benign state and second the Palestinian hatred for the Israelis was going to last for several generations.And, since the Arabs are a growing segment of Israel's population, the demographic time bomb was ticking inside Israel.

It is then that the new solution to isolated problems was devised.The
right wingers of the Republican party and the Israeli propagandists of the Likud party devised a plan, not to respond to individual events but to assault even small disturbances as though they were globally interconnected. This was the PNAC concept and to set in motion that plan, which needed to connect seemingly unrelated events,was called the PNAC.Many of our well known propagandists, religious rightwingers and Israeli propaganda experts were recruited to further this effort.
