I loved your blistering critique of Jonah Goldberg (General of the 101st Keyboardists)...

I sent it to him with some choice words. His one word response: "Yawn".

I e-mailed him back and said:

"You 'yawn' while good Americans die...

2. The Repuke supporters of the war who are young enough

to join the military but have better things to do. You know the ones who will defend Bushies war on the keyboard, especially the pundits like Goldberg. Jonah cited that he was out-of-shape, 35, married, had a baby, family couldn't afford to take the paycut, etc. While all the thousands of our Army and Marines, especially National Guards and Reserves have family, kids, jobs, etc., they had to leave.

As for why my sorry a** isn't in the kill zone, lots of people think this is a searingly pertinent question. No answer I could give -- I'm 35 years old, my family couldn't afford the lost income, I have a baby daughter, my a** is, er, sorry, are a few -- ever seem to suffice.
