No WMD, No Yellow Cake, No 9/11 Link
Edited on Thu Sep-18-03 06:30 PM by Beetwasher
It's building to a crescendo. I think the "no 9/11 link" story is the second of a one-two punch by the intel community, with the "no WMD" as the constant undercurrent. They were FORCED into this admission about "no 9/11 link" somehow. I'm telling you, there is more going on here than we know or will ever know. The more I think about it, the more I realize how incredibly painful this admission is for them and how truly devastating it is to their supporters. This is the complete erosion of the Chimp's "trustability/likeability" factor. Gone. Kaput. No going back. They had NO CHOICE but to do it though, for some hidden reason, I'm positive about that.

4. one theory
has it that Poppy went to Russia, and Putin is coming here, because it was discovered that Iraq was lying about it's oil reserves just like he lied about WMD, Blix said something like just because you have Beware of the Dog sign, doesn't necessarily mean that you have a dog.

Go Bucks, but we need a running back.

Bad things happen when poppy comes home empty handed from Russia.

5. You got a point there
There's a lot that dosn't add up, that makes no sense.

They are putting the bad news out first (how Clintonian)in hopes of neutralizing it.

Nothing is going right for Bush and he has very few options left. No matter what he does he will be criticized for it. He hates criticism.

Since the stolen election? Peaking too soon. I'd say were about 2.5 years too late.

Fanning the flames does no good this far away from election day, let alone 2.5 years ago.

11. Ha! You wish!
This fire's just getting started and there's practically an endless source of fuel...You've GOT to be kidding...Barring a miracle, he's fucked. Even another terror attack won't save his failure ass...They can only count on making it close at this point and stealing it again. I really think they're fucked otherwise.

8. And you know why it's building to a crescendo?
Because some of the Dems have taken off their pink tu-tus and our great Dem candidates are hitting * hard on his lies.

None of this would be brought to light if it weren't for the hideous situation in Iraq.

15. From your mouth...
to G-d's ears!

This is the complete erosion of the Chimp's "trustability/likeability" factor.

I'm not so sure the Shrub is kaput. The accusations against Iraq were too loud and too long... the retraction is too quiet and Saddam is such an easy target to hate. I'm afraid that even if none of the "reasons" for war pan out, people are still glad he's out of the picture.

Bush has presented the whole conflict as "good vs. evil" and there are entirely too many folks who think the end justifies the means.

Many of the citizens of this country are terribly arrogant and terribly impatient, too. They really do think we ought to "bomb their countries and convert them all to Christianity." The sad part of that is that we could.

Democrats had best come up with a better idea... one that even the stupidest Republican right-winger can understand!

16. We'll never get the vote of the stupidest Repub right-winger
So there's no point in even considering coming up with something they can understand. Actually, on some level, they probably already do understand they've been lied to but suffer from severe cognitive dissonance. They will never vote for a Dem no matter what. There is a large portion of the "middle" however that do now understand or are beginning to understand that every reason given for the war was a lie and the "good vs. evil" dyanmic is too simplistic. With daily deaths of soldiers and Dems on the attack the Chimp is in for a rough ride.
