Isn't the nuclear option vote today??

I remember someone telling me that May 9th is the day they'll vote on that. Is that right and will that happen today?

1. It won't be Monday

The senate isn't usually in session on Mondays. The latest scuttlebutt heard is "sometime in the next two weeks." So stay tuned and keep calling senators, you know the right is flooding the switchboards EVERY day.

2. Thanks for the update

I thought I heard/read May 9th. I didn't know they had Monday's off (which I'm sure is nice). I wouldn't be surprised if they do it sometime soon. :crazy:

3. Well I was wrong...

The senate DID meet today, for some reason they changed their schedule this week. The latest I heard is that Reid made some sort of proposal today to Frist, but I don't have the details.
