Kicked in the head, she lay unconscious for two days
Precious Doe now identified as Erica Michelle Marie Green, it took four years to find out who she was and how she died. Now we know, her stepfather kicked her and the mother did nothing.
What I'm having trouble with is the four year gap, her mother and stepfather were staying in KC with people they knew on 59th. street, why haven't these people come forword in over four years?
I'm sure that in the days to come we'll find out why, but it's sick and senseless, and makes anger easy to understand.

7. The little girl's head was discovered in a wooded area of Kansas City

4 years ago. She was christened "Precious Doe" and there has been community activism geared toward giving this little girl a name and some belated justice. Even profiled on America's Most Wanted, I believe.

13. I live in Kansas City. This has been ongoing here...4 years.
I mention the AMW because the case got "some" national attention.

5. They have other children as well. Did those children ever tell anyone
about their "missing" sister? Were they believed? It pains my heart, we don't own our children. They aren't disposable. I don't know what to say about how sick our culture has become.

11. Evidently, the mother had 7 other children w/ various fathers. The big
breakthrough in the case was because one of her grandparents hadn't seen her in years.

12. It was a relative
who finally came forward, one would think that a four year old gone missing would attract attention.
