Daily Shoe joke about the horse joke, oh my god.
Anyone catch it? They had someone imitate pickles' voice and add some extra lines to the horse joke, they went something like this:

Then George said "bring me a stallion, get one with the biggest (bleep) you can find. Hell, bring me two stallions, I wouldm love to get (bleeped) in the (bleep) by one stallion while I (bleep) off the other, until I am covered in gooey horse (bleep).

Remember, this was presented as something Laura Bush supposedly said.

Oh yes, the most filthy thing I have ever heard on TV, even with the bleeps. I love the daily show.

3. My partner and I were helpless with laughter
We played it three times until we couldn't breathe. That's got to be the funniest thing I've seen in a loooong time.

13. LOL I almost used concomitant here yesterday.
But it didn't quite fit. Oh, well, another day will present a fresh opportunity. That's one reason I like DU, one can use words of more than one syllable that may surface in one's thoughts and not be thought of as... too stuffy. And I love nonplussed, as well. It sounds so 18th century. :-)

23. I hear you
I was having a discussion with one of my students (a VERY bright, VERY liberal soph that is a star on my forensics/speech team--going to nationals in June) while I was skimming through DU. I told her the difference between this site and a more conservative site was that the word "hubris" could be used among liberals and most people will know what it means.

12. It was hilarious.
I hope the Daily Show people watch their backs though. You know what Repukes are like when you target their wimmen. They get all protective about what they may consider abuse. After all that's their job.

14. The more the Republicans bitch about it
the more it gets played. Then more people hear about Pickle's real version of the joke, which really is quite tacky.

I see it as a win-win. The Republicans will never be able to push through some sort of controls on cable over this. They'll try, but they'll fail. Messing with popular culture just doesn't work.

Colbert nailed them. Nothing they can do about it.

Hilarious and brilliant.

17. Is it possible Jon doesn't know what Colbert is going to say?
He sometimes seems shocked, and he definitely loses it a lot, like he is hearing it for the first time and can't help but laugh.

It was the most brilliant joke ever, it mocked Laura for telling such a disgusting joke, it mocked Bush for bestiality, and yet, the idiots and freeps and snakehandlers can't really make it an issue or criticize it, because the response is "Why are you attacking me, Laura Bush is the one who brought up bestiality. I was just following her lead."

22. My brother was speculating about that
Plus, Colbert always seems to have a self-satisfied smirk on his face after the bits like that.

Made us wonder whether or not Jon always has all the details about what Colbert is planning...
