2. I think the chart is a bit misleading, it should be clearly labeled as

a cumulative total.
It gives the impression that death rate is rising, which I think it actually is, but that graph doesn't chart death rate.

I have no objection to the graph per se, but its wrong IMHO to chart a cumulative total as a fever chart. I wanted to make sure people understood what they were reading.

It should be charted as bars for each occurence, and the total listed numerically. then you can see the actual trend.

Or, more useful would be to chart the RATE as a fever chart.

Fever charts are supposed to show how something CHANGES over time, not how something ACCUMULATES over time.

sorry for the digression, but I make charts for a living, so its one of my pet peeves when they're improperly used or set up.
