in a specific sense a reich-wing poster at "Free Republic" (I hope I got the name right) while in the broader sense I take it to be anyone that shows a level of narrowminded clone mentality characterized by frequent posters at that sight.

It's more of a response to horny, hormone imbalanced 12 year olds on a myriad of forums. Typically, anyone who claims to be a female on said forums, will recieve posts and pm's with messages such as "got n00dz?" Besides, I'm more partial to this:

I've not been there in years, but I remember a thread on S. Clay Wilson, the highly controversial, pornographic comix artist from the Haight Ashbury era. It was actually a FAN thread! If you're not familiar with Mr. Wilson's works, I can assure you that they are completely at odds with everything the freepers represent. Extreme gay sex (see 'Captain Pissgums')is commonplace with him, so you can see, by that alone, why I was bewildered. But that little bit of tolerance was but a grain of sand in the desert of ignorance and hate that is the free republic.
