Was Gannon a 'boy toy' for visiting world leaders?
The Bush WH is usually a 9 - 5 operation, so I thought it might be significant to look at the times that Gannon exited after 5:00 PM.

Gannon stayed late at least 13 times. A few things that stand out for these dates are:

1. Bush was in the WH on those days.

2. On many of these days, Jeff went to a mid day briefing and then spent most of the afternoon and early evening at the WH before checking out.

3. On a majority of these days, Bush was hosting foreign dignitaries in the afternoon after the breifing, including Tony Blair.

So did Bush hire Gannon for his 'entertainment' skills?

Considering the fact that Gannon is a self-admitted gay prostitute, I would speculate that Gannon was hired by the WH for more than his writing abilities. The whole jounalist bit, might have just been a ploy to sneak a male prostitute into the WH when the Bush's were 'entertaining'.

I wonder how many world leaders got to enjoy his proverbial 8" cut? Naughty boys.

Personally, I don't think that the Gannon "story" is anything. But it is fine with me to have the left wing equivalent of Drudge and such harp on it.

45. What is extreme about what I have posted here?
Gannon is an admitted and documented male prostitute. He had frequent access to the Bush White House way beyond the access that comes with a press day pass. HE was allowed into the White House for events other the press conferences and briefings. Who inside the WH gave his this access?

I've opened a can of worms that goes all the way to the top. That's what's important. Gannon is just another jerk caught in the middle.

34. If you want to understand why this is so important ...
maybe the very best analysis of the scandal was written, surpisingly, by sex writer Susie Bright. With her inside knowledge of the sex trade, her blog entry about Bulldog is nothing less than brilliant:

http://susiebright.blogs.com/susie_brights_journal_/200...

Well, this is certainly the case with high class sexual services... and that is why anyone whos ever done sex work understands that Jeff is not some wacky fluke... that the only way his access happened was because Gannon was dialed in, connected via his cock, to all the right people. The reason he got his little laminated press card was because someone was plying his favors.

...

Bulldog, if he is anything like other gay hookers, has been at this for years, and has grown into his present persona. He moved up into a position a younger man wouldnt have, where he learned a lot of dirt about people because he was fucking them and getting high with them. He advertised that he likes to party, which in sex ad jargon means that he was up for doing speed/ecstasy/cocaine. He would do a little bump with you, or more. This infers he got to know his clients drug preferences as well as their erotic ones.

...

I am convinced Bulldog got into the press corps because someone was deeply in love with him, i.e, with the fantasy he provides. Others in the game saw what he could be used for. Jeff's client wanted more of Jeff, he wanted preferential status, he wanted promises. Gannon, like any pro with a big fish on the line, was growing weary of diamonds and furs.

A mature hooker wants something that will lead to independence; like property, inheritance rights, or a new career. The ultimate way to win your hookers favors is by offering something that gives them the same kind of independence that you, the civilian, possess.

35. Could it be that Bush used guys like Gannon on purpose?
Is this why most world leaders put up with him and are not willing to say anything bad about Bush?

Bush knew how to put them in compromising positions and before they knew it, they were beholden to Bush to keep quiet because Bush now knew enough about them to ruin their political careers forever.

Very likely this is one of the ways Bush gets what he wants from people. Get them by the balls, literally and figuratively, and they can't say no when you want to invade another country or make Wolfowitz head of the World Bank or...

...but my money is on Scott McClellan, son of the former Austin mayor, and frequenter of Austin gay bars, and new husband to a woman with whom he conducted a "long distance relationship"....not that there's anything wrong with that.

Did anyone find out if that Guckert woman in Texas is any relation to JimmyJeff? Say, a beloved aunt, an older sister, a close cousin?

It would put him in the state, and give him opportunity to meet up with Scottie...I just think where there is smoke there is quite likely (Gannon the) cannonfire....

The look that Scottie gives "Jeff" in the questioning is not to be missed. Find that bit of tape on the web, and have a new, fresh look at it. It has been said of me and born out over the course of many, many decades that I have very good instincts when it comes to reading people, and I read more there than a press secretary-fake reporter relationship.

20. Scottie has a WIFE, and people KNOW HIM
You do NOT want people seeing anyone go in and out of your place, especially if you have a recognizable face. Christ, when George Stephanopolous goes out for a donut and coffee, someone emails it to tips@wonkette.com or the I Hate DC blog. And you don't think someone would tip off the Enquirer if they knew that Scott McClellan was visiting that odd bald guy down the hall, and staying ALL NIGHT? Or if some bald guy was at his place, and staying all night?? Hell, that tidbit alone, without even a bland photo, would be worth a couple months rent, at least! If you let the Enquirer reporters stage their nefarious work out of your apartment, your rent could be paid for a year or more!

The best time to get busy is after the daystaff leaves. And the Bush WH doesn't work overtime, unlike the Clinton years where people were there until ten, ten thirty as a matter of routine.

You have an office with a door that locks, and the place is like a tomb. Access is limited, even if you were discovered, you're all on the same team, who is gonna tell???

Then the President proceeded to have his normal morning briefings. And then this evening, the President will welcome the new President of South Korea to the White House for their first face-to-face visit. During the meetings and then the dinner that's following, I anticipate that they will talk about strengthening the United States-Korean alliance

15. Other possibilities in a rational
cloak and daggers world include: liaisons with staffers of said dignitaries and exchange of information, compromising pictures so that when Gannon's cover is ever blown, voila instant embarrassing photos, innocent or not, including politicians who also flock to these welcome wagon meetings. It helps to confuse the actual targets in fact being foreign or domestic.

Which brings up another research question. Are there any other low level Bushco sleaze constituting a team that manage to all show up at these functions or other locations- together?

Male prostitutes are probably more in use for old cloak and dagger ops than Mata Haris because they repel suspicion and notice. Considering he moved into the journalism biz after a lot of these contacts may have been to let previous customers see him in a public, televised job with an active typewriter. Getting caught was not necessarily a bad thing under that scenario so long as he remains free of criminal charges.

Of course that is trying to think logical when a more arrogant sordid interpretation is that team Bush at particular times just liked having him around. To get clearance means a higher up got him in past security. Rove would have had to know and his current position would have made such things many times easier officially if there were some legitimate pretext such as being a top journalist. It sounds tailor made for convergent job promotions of both men.

21. Right
There hasn't been a hint that the security passes are in general handed out to to other stooges. It has to be critically important and the security system has to be stifled from even researching the breach.

I think it is blackmail and influence to advance our scurrilous foreign policy which in reality is against the interests of most WH visitors. The UN spying and other such things is just the tip of the iceberg for which the open diplomacy(by comparison) of Powell is mere show and not what they depend on.

Until you noted the coincidence of visits I would have guessed Gannon was mainly there to compromise journalists and politicians. That would be Rove. The foreign visit times indicate the Cheney circle. He must take a lot of vitamins.

They operate firmly as a crime syndicate hiding behind a circular justification of Intel ops who in turn relied on criminals and criminal lessons for methodology.

Laura's galpals from TX, Jenna and Babsie's college pals, they all get that sort of treatment. The press stays away from asking about that stuff because it goes into the realm of PERSONAL.

But Scottie did not live at the WH, and therein lies the rub. It is NOT personal with him, it's abuse of position, because he shouldn't be conducting his personal beeswax on the nation's dime.

...that JimmyJeff was NOT just a "day pass" guy, as claimed, he was a 30 day access guy. The 30 day access guys are guys that come in to do an odd job, like say, painting, or fixing something, or doing a specific task that once done, is done. I think he may have gotten in on day passes, but I also think he had 30 day clearance on occasion, as well. The next response will tell the tale, if they deign to answer it at all...

I wouldn't find him appealing, but I am not a gay man. But look at Charles and Camilla--there's obviously a strong attraction there, neither one is a pin up, and Charles, simply because of his position, could probably get a real hot mama if he so desired. But the love of his life looks like Don Imus in a dress.

That song "What is Love?" that they used to play on SNL is running through my head right now!!!!!!!!!!

I'm dead serious. Everyone seems to have this impression that the preponderance of gay men just fuck around alot, but I have a gay cousin who has been with his partner for 35 years, and they have a great relationship. They are wedded, for all intents and purposes, and one is not complete without the other. It is TRUE LOVE, and it lasts. If my cousin came to a family event without his partner, we'd be worried--is he sick, are they fighting, that sort of thing...

I think that JimmyJeff and Scottie have been bitten by the love bug. Do you see this as even a possibility?

We are talking a major breech of US National Security and possibly the national security of our Allies.

We are talking about Gannon getting clearance at the highest levels to attend high security events.

We are talking about Gannon working for the Bush WH is a capacity that is not only immoral but illegal.

actually be a redeeming feature or a distracting one. It does seem to fly against the nature of a cold cash operative with so much black bag potential. Gayness has little to do with the latter except in blackmail advantages.

They could cut their losses- it it WAS a problem- with a single "romance" distraction. It wouldn't be pleasant.
