I'm so proud of the students for keeping this going. hope that we can keep shining our light of appreciation for what they are doing in front of the the hall named after Bill Frist.

I can't recommend their blog on kos. Maybe some of you can. Thanks!

Students have been protesting round-the-clock outside the Frist Campus Center at Princeton University, denouncing the "Nuclear Option" being pushed by Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Class of 1974. Yes, it's that Frist's campus center...

Check out the above article about the Frist Filibuster Protest on Daily
Kos, and ***recommend it*** to make sure that as many people see it as
possible. If you don't have an account at Daily Kos already, signing
up is a quick process. It's one of the most widely read political
blogs on the Left...

3. Josh Marshall (TPM) reports two Princeton Physics Faculty
have joined the filibuster effort.

Husband and wife physics team take up TPM faculty challenge to filibuster Frist, win glory and t-shirt!

According to our informants on the scene, this afternoon Edward Witten and Chiara Nappi approached filibuster organizers conducting their filibuster against Frist and informed them they were ready to take up the TPM challenge.

BTW, Ed Witten is a HUGE name in string theory and probably one of the smartest guys on the planet. He has an undegrad degree in polysci and use to work in politics before he morphed into a string theory guru. Of course, he must be smart since he is a democrat. :-)

Filibustering Frist Update!

We're told the first pol to join the students filibustering Frist was none other than Jersey Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D). Next up may be Rep. Rush Holt. And more might be on the way.
