Packaging the team.
The dems will need a team that is perceived as strong in the war on terror and capable to turn around the economy.

In addition, someone who can rally voter turnout.

What are the potential teams for success.

Kerry/Clark - great war team but ho hum on the stump.
Dean/Clark - great stump but will get pounded on being too leftist.
Clark/Lieberman/Clark - Good war leader and name recognition factor but ho hum. Unless Joe brings out Alf to do the talking.
Clark/Kucinich - War leader and great stump speaches from Kucinich.
Clark/Gephart - War & health care in one package with labor support.
Clark/Clinton. - War leader and name recognition and it brings out the RW hate mongers which turn off the middle which might help win it.

The main ingredient is "Clark."
