This frist & bush "We just want to let the congress have an up/down vote"
Edited on Mon Apr-25-05 07:51 PM by The_Casual_Observer
angle really pisses me. The utter duplicity of the appeal is beyond the top. They know god damn well any vote would be a rubber stamp for ANY horrible rw monster that bush would have the pleasure of nominating. They might as well not even bother with the fucking vote, simply just put the guy on the payroll as soon as bush makes the decision.

1. "Let's have an up or down vote ..."
"and since we have the majority, we know there's no way in hell we're going to lose!" :eyes:

2. After all, it's only fair and it's the american way right?
Who could argue with that?

Reminds me of the one about saddam was a madman and the WHOLE WORLD is better off without him, right?

7. Right -- and since we vote lockstep, lest one of us meet
an "unfortunate demise," or be the victim of a cheesy-ass, inflamatory, logically unsound commercial aimed at reactionary freepscum -- or some other form of punishment for not kissing the ring of Emperor Primate.

3. "Since we outnumber the Democrats, thanks to e-voting,
we just want to ramrod our narrow-minded legislation through Congress with no problem."

6. And, in keeping with "All Roads Lead To Rove"...
the ramrodding goes all the way up to the brain of the Nazi operation...

5. We need to remind pukes
That eliminating the filibuster disenfranchises Senators that represent much more than half of the US population.

Do the math (I'm too lazy), Republican Senators represent fewer citizens than do Democratic Senators. The Republican states mostly have small populations.

8. You obviously mistook the Repunks for people who give a $#!t!
They don't care a rat's ass about the Constitution or democracy! All they want is their fix: power!
