Haliburton has officially broken the law.
Their first quarter report is out and boy is it booooooring. That's why there are people like me, who have an odd "thing" for mathematics, to absorb some of the tedium. If you're a masochist and must read it see (1). (pages 3, 6, & 8 are compellingly uncompelling)

Focus: Kellogg, Brown, and Root ('cause they are in Iraq, yo)

Oh my! They're apparently working on a HUGE loss of up to 26% of their Operating Income and 15% off of their Infrastructure this quarter as compared to 2004's first quarter. That's the kind of honest and upfront info you get from an UNAUDITED quarterly report.

The federal budget was conveniently passed just in time for KBR to cry poverty(that's when it doesn't rain ENOUGH money). The more federal budgets to fund Iraq that are passed, the more KBR and Haliburton are called to task by the "liberal" media, and the more they doctor their books. (2)

If you're already falling asleep by now let me put this into perspective for you. Iraq produces 2.4 million barrels of oil per day. (3) Saudi Arabia produces 9.5 million. (4) On NPR this morning(4/25/05-8am) King Abdullah was quoted as saying that it would take $15 billion to update the Saudi systems and increase production. That is a mere fraction of what the United States has paid for oil in jacked up Haliburton price gouging (5) and has contributed to INFRASTRUCTURE ONLY contracts (not including military). Yet production is not at capacity, not even close, and there is still no clear evidence that the profits from that oil production are going anywhere but straight into Haliburton's pockets. (I was very surprised that I didn't see a special "pocket widening" project in their budget)

HALIBURTON HAS DEFRAUDED THE GOVERNMENT, ARE NOT FULLY DISCLOSING THEIR TAXABLE INCOME, AND HAVE LIED TO THEIR SHARE HOLDERS. The Department of Justice got Martha Stewart with far less. The evidence is right in front of them. Haliburton by stealing and price gouging in a time of war is aiding the enemy. That is treason. Attorney General Garcia, by not investigating this, is aiding Haliburton and thus is a traitor to the United States.

STOP THE CORPORATE TREASON! STOP THE NO BID CONTRACTS NOW!

RIP - Accountability 1776-2000

1. Which time are you talking about?
They appear to have repeatedly broken the law. Its almost like they aren't afraid that they're going to be accused or charged...
