Damnit, it was in Saturday's Harrisburg Patriot News about how Ann Coulter caused a stink at the Airport and then bitched about it in her column because she got frisked through security. Turns out Annthrax should up with 30 minutes to spare at HIA and proceeded to get snippy with everyone from the lady at the Northwest counter to the airport security who are just doing their jobs.

Does anyone have the article. I should have brought the paper with me to have it scanned!

Basically the just of the article was this:

Annthrax arrived at the airport cutting it real close to take-off and she was bitching to the lady at the NW counter

Annthrax went through security where she was frisked because something showed up on the security monitor. The management of airport security read what Annthrax wrote and they viewed the tape taken of the whole incident and claimed that nothing, other than Annthrax bitching, was done out of procedure. If you trip security you will be patted by someone of the same sex. Oh, and the woman running security is a top employee at the airport who had won some "Top Employee at the Airport" award.

Hell I've been frisked at the airport - Annthrax needs to get over herself and this needs to be exposed. Obviously only the local Harrisburg newspaper followed up on this and they limit some of the stuff they post on their website. (the Saturday paper is pretty lightweight). So the best I can do is get the article (my mother remember which paper - she was like "Oh, is Ann that woman with the picture of the really funny looking legs. They had put the Time Picture in the article). I pmed Earlg and asked how I could forward the article to him.

Edit Note: When I flew to Austin Texas I too wore rubber-soled Keds. Guess what, I had to take them off too. You can ask GOPisEvil, I showed up with Blue Keds on my feet!

It was in the Saturday edition of the Harrisburg Patriot News. I spent 30 minutes searching everywhere. The Saturday paper is kinda a joke since they try to combine everything into 2 small sections. Maybe the staff doesn't work on Saturday :shrug:

But we have the stuff from Annthrax's website and I'll forward the article to the DU admin. This just riles my butt because security is there to do what they're suppose to do. You know, I was at the boy idiot's inauguration and I got frisked there. Hell, some woman with a special wheel that she would bend her leg and put in this contraption was standing there on one foot while security took 15 minutes to determine wether this was a WMD or something. And the woman had Pro-Chimp stuff all over her.
