2. It's hard for me to imagine
that my Senators, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein would have anything but distain for these idiots. I'll give them a call tomorrow though just to give them my support for not caving into these RW wackos.

3. I'll be calling a number of Dem senators.
I fully expect them to shut-down the Senate entirely if the 'Crybaby Option' is taken.

The jist of my message will be this: I'm a part of this party's core. I volunteer, I bring voters to the polls, I give money. I show-up and vote every time, from dogcatcher to president. I tolerate a lot of disappointment when it comes to certain issues addressed by Congress, but there is one issue where I will not tolerate anything but full firepower from the Dems: the judiciary. Lifetime appointments carry a weight of power with them that is hard to underestimate.

In the case of the Crybaby Option being used, I fully expect the Democrats to shut-down the Senate. No more business on the floor, excepting for security measures. I expect business on the Senate floor to stay at a standstill until the Crybaby Option is undone.

Nothing but full firepower. I'll budge on a lot of issues, but this - the judiciary - is one where I won't. That seems pretty reasonable to me. If they can't do this one simple thing, they lose me.

7. Crybaby Option sounds a lot better.
Democrats have only blocked 4% of Bush's Nominees, many more were blocked when Clinton was President.

6. Shouldn't you be calling
the Republican members from your state? We want them to get more calls against than for, don't we?
