Important: Breaking story this evening...

Okay guys, this is a bit unorthodox, but there is a HUGE story breaking this evening at around 7 PM EST on Raw. It has to break this evening, instead of tomorrow, for reasons I cannot get into at this time. Because it is a Sunday and because weekend stories generally get buried, it is important that this get around ASAP the minute it breaks. You will understand how big this is when it runs.

I don't know all of the particulars as John and I never discuss our work prior to publication. I do know enough to know that this is huge.

Can I ask you please to be ready to take the news you are about to get and be the distribution, get it out? Can I count on you guys?

Until showdown are not a missed opportunity. Around 5 some of what it is about will start being "leaked out" to help in this effort. I can tell you that John has been working through this for a while and frightened out of his mind. So this story needs to get out. Please keep this kicked for the next 6 hours

If he has not been impeached for the highest of crimes. It will, however, put a nice perspective on things. I will leak out what I can as I am given the info and the permission to leak it, just to keep the kick going. Right now, as I have said, I don't know enough. What I know is damning, but I don't have the specifics nor the permission yet. I am allowed for now to post this much.

How often do journalists tell you they will be leaking with permission in order to get a story out? I think John is also concerned that if he is the only one holding this, he will be the only one holding this... if you get my drift... so he is slowly going to allow parts to come out over the course of the day.

One would think that I could make a living doing what I do with writing, but I my illness eats all the little I do make. Might be fun to sell my art, but I don't have a place to do it. Like an online shop and such, I don't have time to run it. And not sure if DU would sell art work. Oh well, might have to stand on a corner with art and writing, lol

You wouldn't have to have a "cat art" website - you could set up a different email addy and advertise that on rawstory, then people could write and ask to see some pics of your work. You could send them some by email.

I know you are incredibly busy with all the corruption with the * admin and it's congregation, but when things slow down, you should give it a try.

I am who I am and I make no apologies for my views. In my work however, I am focused only on fact and Raw is a news organization. Art work for sale would seem like pandering and may reflect badly. I cannot sell it at Raw. I need a virtual gallery maybe, but honestly, what I need is an agent. I lost the one I had when he moved. He took my creative work, writing, art, etc. as well as my op-ed work around for me. He made the calls, wrote the letters, etc.

I don't really have the time to do that and I don't have the money to hire anyone. He was getting a %, but starting from scratch with someone new might be a different story.

Ever since I have been sick, my days are in part spent on the phone screaming at HMOs, fighting for treatment, and just being sick... plus, about 48 hours worth of work in a single day. So no time for selling, just creating is the only way I can put it.

Andy and I laugh that we have the looks and the talent, we just can get beyond our broken bodies, lol. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. Always appreciated

It seems when a civilization starts to decline, the first victims are thoughts, the arts, creativity, and truth. Everyone with wealth creating all of these groups and sub-groups miss the point of the larger picture. If truth and creativity, thought and the arts are not supported, then activists have no tools and grope blindly in the dark of a fabricated thought structure. Boy, too early in the day for my musings.

Also, make sure to get out to every mailing list you have and every forum you post at. We have to get legs on this by Monday morning and when the story breaks tonight, I will explain why we had to run it on Sunday.

Print it, copy it, leave it everywhere. Post it in every forum, blog, etc. Email to friends. Make calls to elected officials. Do all of that, please.

I wish someone would setup some sort of DU (trusted pals) list so that instead of posting, I could just send an email alert out.

Is that BIG stories never go out on weekends... especially during the evening. We were planning to run it tomorrow morning, but we have to run it tonight (I cannot get into why). Because stories die on the weekend, we need to get the troops organized to spread it so that by Monday morning, it has legs. That way, it will survive the weekend publication.

Unless these two things are related, which right now I don't see.
