8. I don't agree. I think it's what slimy republican move

(like the so-called nuclear option or whatever else they have up their sleeves) will prompt the viral marketeers to send the freepers here to start posting tons of thread about abortion, animal rights, xtianity, and whatever else gets our back up and distracts us from what is really going on. It's such an insidious tactic, and we fall for it every time.

I've noticed that on the days the repukes are doing tactical maneuvers in the news, I rarely if ever recognize the screen names of the people who post these controversial threads, and once the latest coup is over you don't ever see that name again. That is evidence enough for me.

wait for a day when all hell is breaking loose on the news, the repukes are in deep shit, come to GD and read the threads. One thing these threads to is keep getting kicked to the top cause they are usually 200 or 300 posts, and if everyone is on a flame war then no one is paying attention to the news cause everyone has to get their two cents in, and this sinks all the other threads right off the page.

For instance, wait until a bad day in Iraq, or when Tom Delay gets investigated and the results come out, or an election, then come here and take note. See all the controversial threads being posted, take note of who is posting them, and go "who the hell is that, never heard of 'em" like I do.

Moving around in that thread is like swimming in jello. Like an idiot, I selected "View All" and my PC froze for a couple of minutes loading all posts. Just jumping from post to post and scrolling freaked my machine out even more. I ain't going there again.

485 posts on that .... I saw that story as a diversion possibility when it came on TV. I remembered when I was in grade school, the teachers whacking us on the wrists with their rulers. Had to make our own paddles in wood shop in Jr. High so the instructor could whack the hell out of us when we got done :spank:. Hurt as all hell, but we all laughed it all off afterwords :rofl:. Part of growing up back then. I didn't get no TV coverage or 485 posts then :( My feelings are hurt. :cry:
