2. My take
My take is the same as yours except that Kucinich is above Graham. Ideologically he's amazing, and I think he's more electable than people think.

14. My choices
Dean
Graham/Edwards
Edwards/Graham
Kucinich
Kerry
Gephardt
Lieberman
Sharpton
Moseley-Braun

No place for Clark until he announces; he's an impressive man but I am skeptical about military men as president of the US.

I put Kucinich as four because my heart is with him; but I don't think his appeal is broad enough to win a general election.

And the more I look at Kerry, the less likely a 'winner'he appears; e.g., he's got himself wrapped up in knots over his Iraq invasion support.

9. Why do you guys rank Kerry so high
When he voted to authorize this war? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if it gets down to a two man race with Kerry and a non-war candidate, I don't see any way he will the primary. Is it just me and am I making this war a bigger issue than it is?

11. As far as I know the only candidate who voted against the war...
was Kucinich.

Maybe Mosely-Braun.

The rest of the congressional candidates voted for it. So in a field of 9 where 5 to 6 of the candidates voted for war some of them are going to look higher than they should be. That's because only three candidates were on record against the war and I suspect that one of them was completely disengenuous (Dean). That leaves Kucinich and Sharpton and Sharpton is not electable. If the question above had been rank who you will vote for in the primary my list would have been much more selective.

here it is:

1. Kucinich

The other thing is that I actually ranked Kerry rather low.

8. Graham/Clark
1. Graham
2. Clark
3. Kerry
4. Gephardt
5. Moseley-Braun
6. Edwards
7. Dean
8. Leiberman
9. Kuchinich
10. Sharpton

I really think a Graham/Clark ticket would blow Bush out of the water. All he's got now is security issues, and they are so far above him on that it's not even funny.

12. Preferences
1) Graham
2) Gephardt
3) Kerry
4) Edwards
5) Lieberman
6) Dean
7) Kucinich
8) Sharpton
9) Mosley-Braun

I base this on electability. I will support any candidate that emerges victorious from the primaries but I believe only the first four candidates I named can beat the Monkey.

13. Please forgive me for ranking them more a la kos' cattle call
Great fun! I'm ranking them by movement in polls, buzz, money and certain intangibles.

(1) Kerry-- He's still leads the pack. Money, solid party base including endorsements. But if he doesn't start climbing in the polls in the next month or two, he's in real trouble.

(2) Dean-- Incredible grassroots support, responsive campaign, fundraising success, lots of buzz (good and bad), real upward movement in the polls. He's got momentum alright, but can he maintain it? What about the growing amount of negative press? What happens if Clark jumps in? Stay tuned.

(3) Gephardt-- Unions, Unions, Unions. Has to fight the perception that he's yesterday's candidate.

(4) Edwards-- Good speeches, town hall forums in N.H., compelling personal story. How come he can't shake the lightweight reputation?

(5) Graham-- I keep waiting for him to apply his knowledge about foreign policy in a meaningful manner. What's he waiting for? Lack of buzz and an asterick in the polls.

(6) Kucinich-- Great endorsements, enthusiastic backers on the left. Look, he's not going to get the nomination. I'd literally bet my last cent on that.

(7) Lieberman-- He managed to raise 5 mil, but despite his wide name recognition, he hasn't managed to create a solid base. He is yesterday's candidate. I'd literally bet my..... oh, never mind.

(8) Al Sharpton and Carol Mosely Braun. It's not a matter of whether or not I like them. I'd literally.... yeah, you already know what I'm going to say.
