bankruptcy reform will 'give (poor) people greater access to credit'?!
Edited on Wed Apr-20-05 06:52 AM by HypnoToad
Bush said he was eager to sign the bill to curb abuses of the bankruptcy system. ''These commonsense reforms will make the system stronger and better so that more Americans - especially lower-income Americans - have greater access to credit,'' he said.

That twit in the white house is totally DERANGED! His own comments indict him. He should be screened by a team of mental health professionals; he's obviously delusional. Probably schizophrenic. And is in no condition to be in power of even a light switch.

What is "commonsense" about any of it? It won't stop prior abuses. It won't stop Donald Trump from being a slimy chump. It will only drive people to suicide at best, running out on their debts which is now a far more mature action to take, at worst. (and people should pay back their debts. I don't say "running out on them" so easily or so quickly. :-( )

Escaping medical bills, credit card charges and other debts will be much more difficult under a new bankruptcy law headed for approval by Congress and President Bush.

Gee, medical bills. The reason why a lot of people go bankrupt. I'm not commenting further, this one - and people who signed the bill - sicken me for their act has done nothing to help the people. It will only hurt.

NOW if * and the majority who signed this filth into law also have a big plan to give everybody jobs, then so what? People can pay back debt and everything is fine. But that's a load. There are no jobs. There is no medical reform worth speaking of positively. I could go on for ages.

Even people wanting bankruptcy will have to PAY for credit counseling. Uh, they're declaring bankruptcy. That means they lack the means to pay, DUH. They can't afford it. This is more delusional non-commonsense delusion.

In short, I am fuming.

Anyone supporting this bill is not for the people. Period. Never has been, or they're going about their plan the wrong way. Certainly the antithesis of COMPASSION, and I thought our President was compassionate. Whoops.

EVEN THE FRIGGING BIBLE HAS BETTER AND MORE FORGIVING THINGS TO SAY ABOUT BANKRUPTCY.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=bush+bankruptcy+lower+credit has a hell of a lot more.

2. Actually, Mr. Bush* is full of Shit, once again
You can still do a Chapter 7 if your income is below the state median income, it'll just cost a bunch more in legal fees because of all the new paperwork. So it will have NO EFFECT whatsoever on lower income americans except for INCREASED FEES.
