We're GONNA WIN MOTHERFUCKERS!!!! We're gonna win!!!
For all you defeatists. For all you worried about Jeb in 2008. Worry about Shrub in 2004. BECAUSE:

We're gonna win this motherfucker. I can feel it in my bones.

Feel free to agree.

This is a post for all of you who BELIEVE. This is a post for all of you who are sick and tired of hearing how we're going to get our clocks cleaned.

Stand up and be counted. Whether you support Kerry, Dean, Clark, or whoever. One thing is certain to me. No matter who we nominate. WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE 2004 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

RESPOND IF YOU AGREE. Change sides if you don't.

As JFK and RFK use to say (in 1960): "We don't want any losers around here."

10. Puke nominee will be
Someone like that guy who couldn't spell tomato.. ya know, a puppet. It sure as hell won't be someone who is their own self-made man. Maybe if I had paid attention to who the young up-puking pukes are, I could guess at some names, but I don't, so I can't. Sorry, Don.

2. Agreed, and AMEN!
I support who I support for the Primary. Once the nomination is done, I'd say any one is a shoe-in to beat the living hell out of Bush.

5. I'm with ya, Jeter:
If we don't win, there's something very, very wrong in this country because 9 out of 10 people I talk to can't stand Bush. It's the voting machines I worry about, but at this point I don't think even that would work. We've got really good candidates in this and Bush only has his record (and a shitload of money, of course). We have just got to make sure everybody we know goes out and votes - I'll be letting my employees off early or come in late, whichever they prefer, just so they vote. We will win; we've got to win.

13. It's winnable
but it's waaaaay early to be talking about it "in the bag" just yet. 2000 proved the Democrats and progressives can turn out enough to win, but it was very close in a lot of states. Can we count on the Greens in '04?

Remember that the economy is improving, and all Presidents tend to get more credit or blame for the economy than they deserve when running for reelection. The Iraq situation, and the state of the world - who knows what it will be next year. All these things are factors beyond our control.

What is in our control is our own actions. We have to work hard, not just for a candidate we support, but doing the dirty work at the grassroots level: registering voters and making sure they turn out.

There will be plenty of time to pop the champagne (make mine beer, though) AFTER the election. Work now, celebrate later!

18. They Will Try To Steal The Election Again
Edited on Wed Sep-17-03 12:42 AM by AndyTiedye
with the voting machinez, and with more traditional methods.

The HAVA mandate is likely to mean that most of the 2004 vote will be counted by Diebold Republican Electing Machinez. I am sure that the Diebold CEO was being a man of his word when he promised to "deliver the votes" for the Rethugs.
The Georgia 2002 elections are a taste of what they have in mind for us.
This scheme may be unravelling due to its exposure in the press (Thank you Bev!!).
It is the greatest threat, but not the only one.

The State of Florida has already said that they are "unable" to reinstate any of the 90,000 wrongfully-disenfranchised voters in time for the 2004 elections. It only
took a few minutes to purge them all from the voting rolls, but it takes years to put them back.

The recall in California could place our elections under the control of Republicans beholden to the BFEE. If they steal California we haven't got a chance of winning.

The Greens will run against us in an attempt to suck away a few percent of the vote in swing states. They will do this whoever we nominate. They probably won't get as many votes as in 2000 -- most people have figured out the differences between Democrats and Republicans by now.

It is very encouraging to see some criticism of the administration appearing in the mainstream news. For so long the media was entirely in shrub's pocket. Much of it still is, but not as much as it was.

Bush* will try to start another war of course. It is the only thing that has ever boosted his normally-abysmal ratings. It would also bring the media back into line.
He may not be able to use 9/11 as a justification for yet another war, so they may
MIHOP again. If they do that, our only hope is that they be caught in the act and exposed for what they really are.

To overcome all this, we need to do more than just go for a "win".
We won last time, but it wasn't good enough.
We have to go for a landslide of historic proportions.
That is what it will take to beat these bastards.

17. And remember
it is more of us than it is of them so yes we can win and they know it better than we do. The next win will not be decided in a courtroom because Dems/Ind will not roll over and play dead this time. Sometimes one has to let go of the nicities and stand up and fight. So brace up and be read!

19. republican challenger a-coming...
...I know it. There must be some Pugs tonight who are weighing their chances and weighing what the BFEE will do to them if they try the run.

I fully expect a challenger to Bush. And I hope it will be the ruin of the party, as the Bushes try to assassinate those who break ranks.

20. WE'RE GONNA WIN!!!!
Shrubites are deconstructing nicely. We're past cracks in the empire, now it's gaping chasms in the empire.

When a leading Repug comes out and calls for high level resignations it'll be Chimp's LBJ moment soon after.

Can't imagine Cheney or Jeb Bush or any leading Repug having any appeal to the common man. They're all repulsive.

McCain is their only hope.

What I want is the whole Winger movement thoroughly discredited and a bunch of Democratic senators and congressmen (women) elected!

32. The election is ours to win.
We just have to stop fucking with the things we've got going for us and keep harping on the fact that Bush blows.

Seriously, Bush sucks in every possible way.

That is the basic message.

Job creation, healthcare and fiscal responsibility are 1A, 1B and 1C. But mostly, we just have to have the guts, the troops and the stamina to keep shouting the truth about the trainwreck that is BushCo.
